HOW IT ALL BEGAN: Back in January of 2010, the leaders of ten Midwestern ICF Chapters got together and created a forum to support each other in the growing of our coaching organizations and communities. We shared ideas, strategies, and best practices and began brainstorming on how we could create something extraordinary together. Our Vision: To be the premier regional leadership team in ICF, working in collaboration to model the values of ICF, promote the coaching profession, capitalize on the synergies of our leaders, and support the growth and development of our members.
A NEW POSSIBILITY FOR THE COACHING COMMUNITY: From those early conversations great synergy emerged! The ten Midwestern chapter leaders were inspired to work together, pooling our resources, ideas and inspirations to create something that had never been done before—a gathering of coaches bigger than a single chapter event but not quite the size of the international conference. All the chapters agreed that we could work together to create the first annual Midwestern Regional Conference that would travel from chapter to chapter every twp years offering each chapter the opportunity to host the event, following the template created by this first conference.
The Forum decided that the annual Midwestern Regional Conference would kick off in the Spring of 2012 in the exciting city of Chicago. Check it out here icf-midwestregionalconference.com Early Bird registrations will be available soon.
Want to volunteer for one of our committees and really get a great deal on registration? We need YOU. And even more importantly, we WANT you.
We WANT your creativity, your excitement, your enthusiasm, and your passion for coaching. We want coaches who are “all about” making big changes, following big visions, generating big ideas, taking big actions, and creating big lives.
If that’s you, then NOW is the time to get on board and help create this unprecedented event.
• We need phenomenal speakers to captivate our coaches and launch them into their next stage of coaching excellence. Who would you like to see? • We need a team to organize the special events surrounding the conference. Evening social events, as well as post conference activities. What would you like to do? • We need a team to reach out and enroll amazing venders and exhibitors. Again, we already have an extensive list, we just need awesome coaches to make it happen. What would you like to get?
• We need a team of coaches who are excited to handle the registration process on the day of the event and make sure the event runs smoothly. How would you like it to run?
• We need talented marketing people who will help support our efforts and help make this conference visible and delectable. How can you spread the word?
The magic of this event is that it is “Of the coaches, by the coaches, and for the coaches.”
