Leadership
The MCA is led by the Board of Directors, the President and President-Elect. The MCA Board is comprised of the executive team, and coleads from each of the MCA's key teams - Membership, Professional Development, Communications, and Greater Community. The Executive team is made of the President, Past President, and President-Elect. All teams are co-led to share the joys and the responsibility of leadership.
Leadership roles are open to all members in good standing and elections are held each Summer. In 2005 we innaugurated a new transition process by creating 18 month terms with three months of apprenticeship, one year voting member, followed by 3 months as mentor.
Team membership is open to every member. Contact the leadership team co-leads in the area of your interest to get involved.
Membership
Annual MCA Memberships are currently being accepted for new members. The fee for sustaining members is $195 and for professional level is currently $95 for a 12-month membership. Students and coaches outside the 7 County Metro area may join for $55. New members will receive access to the MCA Members area on the website, which hosts expanded content, tools, resources and a downloadable Directory of MCA Members. Additionally, members are entitled to free admission to MCA Monthly Meetings (a $240 value ($20 per month)). To become a member online, click here.
